WINTER IS COMING!

We hope everyone is having a pleasant summer and is enjoying the warm weather while it lasts! Fall is quickly approaching and with that comes cooler temps, so please take advantage of this time to make sure your home is prepared.

- Do you have heat tape installed under your home?

- Is it plugged in and working?

- Is the insulation under your home in place or do you have gaps that need to be repaired/filled?

We have a few reminders for everyone, as we have some new members in our community as well.

● Please keep your driving slow, the cameras have picked up a few chronically speeding cars; the cameras measure speed. It is up to you to keep your, and your guests speed down.

● Any animals/people you want to bring into the park are with approval only, and we require background checks for anyone over the age of 18 living in the community. If you have plans to sell your home, you MUST notify us first, and the buyers need to be approved by management prior to move in.

● We are working hard to maintain a tidy and safe community for everyone to live in. Please help do your part by keeping your yards in order. We will be keeping a closer eye on this moving forward and will send out violation notices as needed. Failure to make the corrections requested will result in non-renewal of your lease.

● Cars with flat tires, on jackstands, in disrepair etc. will be towed without notice.

If you need help getting your home prepped for winter with heat-tape, insulation, or other handyman services please contact us and we can give you the name of someone you can hire to get your home ready for winter.

What to do in a maintenance emergency: Call/text us and leave a message with the nature of the issue; if you don’t leave a message with a description of the issue we cannot help. Our phone number is 319-214-8100.

SKIRTING

As stated in the community rules and regulations, all homes are required to have skirting in good condition. Skirting must be present around entire perimeter of home without holes or gaps between panels. Additionally, hitches should be removed or concealed.

If you need assistance with your skirting repairs, please contact us or reach out to your community manager, thank you.

PAPERWORK

Joe will be distributing new lease agreements and rules and regulations this week. Please sign both documents and return within 7 days, thank you.

NEW OWNERSHIP

As of June 1st, 2020 Parkside Estates Mobile Home Park is under new ownership.

We are excited to make improvements to the park and to create a safe and peaceful community for residents to enjoy. More news to follow.
